Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the InkPal charge, and request a refund. If you need help, email us and we can guide you through it.
This usually means a temporary network or server issue. Try again in a few seconds, switch networks (Wi-Fi ↔ cellular), or force-quit and reopen the app. If it keeps happening, email us with the prompt or mode you were using.
InkPal is built for uncensored creative writing, but a small number of categories are always off-limits (e.g. content involving minors, real-person sexual content, or other content prohibited by law). Rephrasing the scene with fictional, adult characters usually works.
From the home screen, choose Story Mode, Role-Play Mode, or Chat Mode. Each mode is tuned for a different writing flow — you can switch any time without losing existing work.
Your stories are stored locally on your device. Use the share / export option inside a story to copy text or save it out. We recommend keeping a backup of long-form work outside the app.

Because all content is stored on your device, deleting the app removes your data. To erase content selectively, delete individual stories or chats inside the app.
